The event will offer an honest and empowering exploration of the unique challenges and triumphs faced by first-generation college students, often referred to as the "First and Onlys." Short Film: " Up-Syndrome' by Grayson Reed-- Up-Syndrome is a documentary about a Colorado resident with Down Syndrome who dreamed of being a filmmaker. 

Short Film:  "Quad Life" by David Jeffers-- a local award-winning film that offers a raw and honest portrayal of life as a quadriplegic. More importantly it's a powerful story brimming with hope, resilience, and the enduring human spirit.

Featuring student dancers from studios across the Charlotte area, and partnering with a blend of international and regional professional dancers, this production is a delightful tale of a budding romance between two villagers, Frantz and Swanilda, alongside the curious workings of their eccentric neighbor Dr. Coppélius, a mad inventor who has taken to creating life-like dolls. Infatuated at the sight of the inventor's new doll, “Coppélia”, Frantz sneaks into Dr. Coppélius' doll workshop, and mayhem ensues. At a family friendly price, this classic will delight and astound audiences of all ages.
