The Nutcracker returns to the Halton Theater in this delightful production by the Charlotte Youth Ballet. This holiday treat brings to life the story book dreams of a young girl, complete with dancing snowflakes, a dashing prince and sugar plum fairy. With Tchaikovsky’s brilliant score, lavish sets, opulent costumes and CYB’s magnificent stars, this Nutcracker never fails to enchant audiences of all ages.

Back by popular request this year are Principal artists Laura Valentín and José Rodríguez from the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico!  Guest artists include Hardin Minor “Omimeo”, Odemar Ocasio, Tommy Robbins and Aureo Andino.  The remaining cast dancers are area professionals and Company dancers from the Charlotte Youth Ballet.  The Charlotte Youth Ballet’s The Nutcracker is the only ballet this holiday season offering area dancers the opportunity to perform with international professionals bringing audiences an inspiring, entertainment experience.

The Charlotte Youth Ballet enriches the community through a non-profit, innovative, regional ballet company that provides dancers an opportunity to perform in professional level productions.
