CPCC and UNC Charlotte Departments of Music Present Britten's War Requiem

The performances of this 20th-century work of reconciliation and peace employ two orchestras, mixed chorus, boys chorus, and three soloists, and is unique in its juxtaposition of Latin Requiem Mass texts and the transformative poetry of English soldier and WWI casualty Wilfred Owen.
