CPCC to Hold 3rd Annual Car, Truck, and Bike Show May 3rd at North Campus
The Auto Body Repair program at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) will host a Car, Truck, and Bike Show for vehicle enthusiasts on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008, at the CPCC North Campus.
Activities will take place in the parking lot of the Transport Systems building, a 100,000 square foot facility housing the College’s Auto Body Repair, Automotive Systems, and Heavy Equipment and Transport Technology programs
Individuals can register to show their customized vehicles and compete for awards in the following classes:
Honda 95 & Older (1st, 2nd, 3rd
Honda 96 & Newer (1st, 2nd,3rd)
Import Mild & Wild (1st, 2nd,3rd)
Domestic (1st, 2nd,3rd)
Full Size Truck (1st, 2nd,3rd)
Mini Truck (1st, 2nd,3rd)
Bike (1st, 2nd,3rd)
Classic Car (1st, 2nd,3rd)
Club Participation-must have logo on car
Best Engine
Best Paint
Best Interior
Best Of Show

Registration will be held from 8am – noon. The registration fee is $20. Winners will be announced beginning at 4pm. All proceeds go to support programs for Auto Body students.
Spectators will enjoy free admission, along with food vendors, a DJ, tours of the Transport Systems building, and a free demonstration of air brush and custom painting techniques.
